To facilitate its’ continued growth Terex Finlay has just completed a £2.1m investment plan in people, plant, processes and facilities.
Part of this investment has seen over £1.2m being spent on a new paint shop. The new facility comprises of two large units, each of which has 500m² of floor space and a smaller unit which has 350m² floor space.
This new facility enables one complete unit to be sprayed at a time, making the process more energy efficient than traditional painting systems. Customers will see a major improvement in the quality of the finished product, whilst employees will benefit from the reduced waiting time for painted components. The installation of a state of the art air recycling and recovery system will be beneficial to the environment as it will reduce the lost heat being blown into the environment.
